KyPass App Reviews

I recently upgraded to the latest version of KyPass and it locks up after you use it. Plus, after it times out it will not let you type in your password to access it again. The only way to get it to reset is to turn your iPhone or iPad off and back on. In the past I have been a fan of this app but the latest version is a failure.

Great to see that the app is working again. It a great app for storing passwords for IOS.

Im grateful for any iOS app which supports the open-source program and file format of KeePass. This app, KyPass, is a good choice, but password file updates had to be manually installed over several OS devices. I was hoping for a WebDAV sync feature eventually - because under no circumstances will I use Dropbox syncing for anything secure, and neither should YOU. So, I was thrilled to finally see WebDAV support for syncing using my own server. Thank you! However... 1. WebDAV syncing works, even with "https", but these recent updates have required a complete reinstall of the app, the WebDAV server URL reloaded, etc. This is very disappointing, but Im dealing with it right now. What happens during the upgrade is that your WebDAV files seem to become local files and no longer sync with the server. It has just been easier to delete the entire app and reinstall and re-sync everything. 2. The WebDAV username and password are plainly visible in the setup. Also... 3. Most of the setup screens do not update automatically when you enter data into them, and you have to toggle the setup screens back-and-forth, to see the changes. More frustration. In conclusion… KyPass is a good app for the experts among us that also use and appreciate KeePass. I wish the developer good luck with this, and I hope he can make some serious improvements, to make this the app it deserves to be. It is still rough at this point.

Really great app. I like it better than other similar services because of its open format and Dropbox integration.

Great app , but why dropbox not use root directory. / - not workin, only /abcd :(

I import it from the crypt folder from dropbox like it tells me, however when I put my password in it tells me it is incorrect. I know it is correct though as it allows me to log in on all other devices.

Integration with Dropbox is awesome. Nice browser integration. No compatibility problems with the Windows or Linux Keepass apps.

Honestly this app is pretty good but I have issues like it not syncing with Google Drive consistently. Creating new entries isnt is as smooth as the desktop tool.

Solid code. Easy DB upload from desktop. Lifesaver, with everything needing passwords now.
